The National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) is a federal data collection that requires all States to collect information from youth in, or formerly in, foster care about their experiences in foster care. The South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS) has partnered with The Center for Child and Family Studies at the University of South Carolina in this exciting project!
How do I take the survey?
Have you been notified that you are eligible to take the SC NYTD survey? If so, you can contact the SC NYTD toll-free hotline at 1-800-692-7021 (it’s a local call from wherever you are!). You can also email the SC NYTD team to let them know that you were invited to complete the survey and are interested in participating in the study. We look forward to hearing from you!
